3 books on my bookshelf

I might edit this in the morning to add pictures, but right now I'm just going to write about the books.

Book 1:
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child- This book is about a play (I think) with the children of Harry Potter. To be perfectly honest I really don't know what it's about. When I was tagged in an event on Facebook to go to a Harry Potter thing in Staunton I was stoked. I love the movies, and have the books, although I've yet to read pass book #2. I was really excited about the events of the day, but more excited to dress up as our house and hang out with my 2 best friends for the day. After high school, I really didn't have a lot of friends. I had random times where I would have people to hang out with for a couple months and  then it would fizzle out. So when I (sort of) reconnected With Sami, and joined book club I felt like I finally had real friends. Side note: I say sort of reconnected with Sami bc we were close, but really not *that* close, we had kids the same age and hung out sometimes, but not as close as we had been before. And then even more so when I became really close to Nikki and closer to Sami (again). All day we hung out, in the thousand degree heat, and did some really cool Harry Potter things. After that we went back to town to be at Barnes for the midnight release of the book. We met up with some more friends from book club there. OH! And after the book release we went and made our own pizzas at Vocellis, we happen to know the owner bc we are cool like that  ;)
All around it was a great day and the book reminds me of that day, even if I never read it, which I am sure I will, the book will always have a spot on my shelf

Book 2:
Charlotte's Web- One of my favorite books, and movies, as a kid. I actually bought this book for mason for his 3 (?) birthday. I didn't have a lot of money for a gift, so I went and got him this book. I thought it would be something to do together, and that he would like to listen to, and hopefully love it as much as I did. That year I also got him a sleeping bag b/c he was in this phase where he liked sleeping in pillow cases. At 3 years old he was very easy to please. He loved my gifts and every night for weeks he would sleep in his bag and I would read a couple  pages to him. We have recently restarted the book and he loves it so far. He has seen both versions of the movie, but like me he also loves books and he wants to finish the book. I bet by next year he will be able to read it himself.

Book 3:
Twilight- This book will always hold a special place for me b/c I "blame" that book for getting me into reading. I read a lot until like 7th grad then I never really read b/c my one friend didn't think it was cool. Then when I lived in Earlysville, with no Tv, no internet, my cell phone didn't work out that far, and I had a boyfriend that I didn't talk to, I would read a little. But it was mostly random books his mom gave me. Then my sister told me to read Twilight. And I did, and fell in love. I read all the books in no time, and then shortly after that read a couple other random books. I know it's a cheesy love story and the movies are awful but honestly, when I get my book tattoo, I will find some way to incorporate those books, b/c I don't think I would have met the women I call my friends without having read those books. My house wouldn't be filled with books now and who knows what I would do with my spare time if I hadn't fallen in love with reading again.

I'm not sure if this is what that prompt meant, or if I was just suppose to describe 3 books on my shelf....but this is what you got, b/c this is how I took the prompt.
