Spotlight Saturday

I spent my kid free Saturday shopping for planner stickers and then (of course) playing with my planner. I went so long without having any real hobbies, that it's really nice to have something to get excited about again. Even if it's as small as some $2 stickers for my planner.

Those stickers are the best! You are so much better at keeping up with your planner than I am. I have such good intentions every year, and then just don't keep up with it.

About me

I'm a 30 year old single mom to a sassy, 6 year old. He tests my patience every day but I love him. I have 2 cats and a pup who are a bigger pain in the ass than the kid, but they are cute so I let them get away with it. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but for the meantime I will continue to (semi) enjoy working my retail jobs. It's been almost 3 years since I split with my son's dad, and I have learned so much about myself. I have found time to find some hobbies, something I never really had before. I love to read, and read every chance I get. I love to write, although I know I'm not very good at it. My grammar sucks, but I am hoping this will help me with that.

I said I was a single mother, but that is only because of the defintion of the word single. Yes, I am single, but I am not actually a single mother. My son's father and I are pretty good co parents. Being a single mother sucks a lot of the time, but it really works out to have a good relationship with the dad.

So basically, this will be about being a animal loving, single mother who loves to read and believes in fairy tales
